Technical Paper

Technical papers are formal, written research papers reviewed by industry experts. Technical Papers that are accepted for publication and will be scheduled for a 25-minute presentation in the CAMX conference program.

• Important Dates 
  • Abstract Application Due: February 16
  • First Round Decisions Released:  March 13 
  • Draft Technical Paper Due: May 3
  • Final Decisions Released: June 21
  • Draft PPT Presentations Due: August 1

CAMX Award 

The coveted CAMX Award is given to two top entries that exemplify the CAMX theme of "Combined Strength. Unsurpassed Innovation." The award allows organizations and individuals to showcase groundbreaking achievements that have the potential to truly change the composites and advanced materials industry through their innovation and application. 

Deadline: June 21, 2024 

ACE Award 

Awards for Composites Excellence (ACE), a prestigious composites industry competition, recognizes outstanding achievement and innovation in technology, manufacturing and product development. The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA), host to the long-standing awards program, will present six awards in three categories at CAMX. Categories include: Design, Manufacturing, and Market Growth. 

Deadline: June 21, 2024 

Poster Session   

This exciting competition attracts the next generation of researchers, engineers and industry professionals from universities and organizations around the globe. Poster are displayed during CAMX and judged on overall presentation, significance to the future of composites and advanced materials and their commercial application. Final Accepted Poster will need to be present from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 11^th  at San Diego Convention Center for a meet and greet to interact with attendees and answer any questions about your poster.

  • July 1  - Poster Abstract Notices Sent 
  • August 1 - Final Posters Due
  • August 12 - Poster Acceptance Notices Sent

No Extensions will be provided.

2. Select the program for which you are applying and click “Apply” 
3. Enter all required information in your application; you may save your work and return to complete the application as many times as needed before the deadline. 
4. When complete, click “Submit” - this is an important step! 
5. Upon successful submission, the submitter will receive an email confirmation
